HemoTemp® II (Case of 200)

HemoTemp® II indicators are reversible/irreversible liquid crystal blood bag temperature indicators which offer the time and temperature history of the blood unit. After activation, the irreversible portion will change color from blue to a non-blue color as the blood temperature increases and as time passes. Once the indicator has lost its blue color, it will not return to its original color even if the blood unit is re-cooled. This ensures the user of the time and temperature history of the unit.

• HemoTemp® II is a specialized visual indicator displaying both active temperature and permanent record of unacceptable temperature.
• Once the blue flower fades with temperature at 10°C or greater, re-cooling will not bring it back.
• The reversible portion of the HemoTemp® II acts as a blood bag thermometer.
• The irreversible portion, the ‘flower’, warns when core temperature of the blood has exceeded 10°C.
• Indicating windows on the HemoTemp® II show temperature progression giving clear indication of condition
