• VeinLite PEDI 2® uses TransLite's patented side-transillumination method for imaging veins anywhere on the body
• VeinLite PEDI 2 has 14 powerful LED light sources (10 orange and 4 red)
• LED lights remain cool to the touch so they are the safest light source to use on infants
• To achieve the best contrast for vein imaging, bright orange light (for strong illumination) is combined with deep red light (for high penetration of dark pigmented skin)
• Two light switches allow for selection of either or both colors for optimum vein imaging - even in the smallest of patients
• A unique C-shaped ring design gives uniform illumination of a small region of tissue
• VeinLites not only help find the vein, they can prevent rolling and stretch the skin for easy access
• The VeinLite PEDI 2 uses two AAA batteries (included)
• VeinLite PEDI 2 is supplied with 25 Disposable Protective Covers which are recommended for use to prevent contamination of the unit
• When you order a VeinLite PEDI 2 - it includes 25 disposable plastic covers, two AAA batteries and a hard plastic case.
