- Medical Records Drop Box temporarily holds discharged patient charts within the care unit until scheduled pick up or delivery by the Medical Records Department
- Patient Files are deposited via the 12" W x 9"D front top opening on the front of the unit and retrieved via the bottom keyed compartment
- Top deposit slot has a metal anti-theft baffle in the opening that prevents unwanted access from individuals attempting to slip their hands through the slot to pull files out; design is similar to a mailbox
- Lockable Medical Records Return Boxes have pick-resistant locks that are coded in a non-repeating sequence for increased security to help prevent patient file/medical records theft
- Made from powder coated white, 18-gauge steel which provides durable construction for demanding hospital environments
- Top slot accepts multiple files at once up to approximately 1" thick
- Slot accepts standard and legal size files
- Dimensions: 17"W x 14.5"D x 20"H
- Box Mounting options: Mount box on the counter or wall close to nursing units for convenient access
- Boxes come with pre-drilled mounting holes on the back panel and bottom of the unit
